Itinerary, documents, emergency numbers and the last currency rates
Mapia (App Store name: Travel Assistant - Mapia) is a travel planner app for iPhone and Android. You type a city or country and your dates, and it builds a day-by-day itinerary with real places, times and a map. Each trip also keeps your documents, budget, emergency numbers and notes in one place.
Do I need an account to use Mapia?
No. There is no sign-up. You can use Mapia from the first screen.
Is there a free plan?
No. Mapia is a subscription app with no free plan: you need Mapia Pro to create your first trip. Pro includes everything: unlimited trips and plan rebuilds, documents, budget and expenses, emergency numbers, the converter and phrasebook, saved places, the globe with travel statistics, and PDF export.
How much does Mapia cost?
Mapia Pro is $7.99 per week or $39.99 per year, so you can pay for one week of travel instead of committing to a year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices may vary by region.
How does Mapia build my itinerary?
You choose a destination, your dates, the number of travellers, your pace (relaxed, balanced or full days) and, if you like, interests such as food, culture, nature, shopping, nightlife or family. Mapia then builds a day-by-day plan in about 10 to 20 seconds. This one step needs an internet connection.
Does Mapia work offline?
Yes, for what you need on the road: your itinerary, documents, emergency numbers and the last currency rates open with no signal. Creating or rebuilding a plan needs a connection.
How do the emergency numbers work?
Mapia fills in the local emergency, police, ambulance and fire numbers for your destination country, plus your home country’s embassy or consulate, and you can add your own contacts such as your hotel or insurer. Always confirm critical numbers locally.
Which languages does the Mapia phrasebook cover?
44 essential phrases in five groups (basics, getting around, eating, paying and help) in 34 languages, with pronunciation for non-Latin scripts, spoken aloud with your phone’s own voices. It ships inside the app, so it works offline.
Which devices does Mapia run on?
Mapia runs on iPhone (iOS 16.4 or later) and on Android phones (Android 8.0 or later).
How do I plan a trip day by day?
Choose a destination and your dates in Mapia, pick a pace (relaxed, balanced or full days) and any interests, and the app builds a day-by-day itinerary with times, places and a map in about 10 to 20 seconds. You can then move stops between days, add your own places or rebuild a single day.
Can I track my travel budget in Mapia?
Yes. Set a budget for each trip and log expenses in any currency. Mapia converts them and shows what you have spent and what is left, by day and by category. Budget and expenses are part of Mapia Pro.
Can I keep tickets and travel documents in Mapia?
Yes. Store flights, stays, tickets, insurance and passport copies by category, as a photo or a file. They open full screen and are saved on your device, so they work offline. Documents are part of Mapia Pro.
Can I export or print my itinerary?
Yes. Mapia Pro can export the whole itinerary as a clean, printable PDF.
How do I cancel Mapia Pro?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Mapia. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, and choose Mapia. You can restore purchases in the app under Profile.
Plan the trip. Pack the bag. Mapia has the rest.
Download Mapia, type where you’re going, and see your first plan in seconds.
